Jim Holden, founder of Fish for Life, lives in San Clemente, California with his wife, Sue. Originally from King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, Jim developed a deep love for fishing at a young age—a passion that has stayed with him throughout his life.

Guided by a heart for serving God by serving others, Jim created Fish for Life to bring joy, love, and unforgettable experiences to special needs children through the magic of fishing.

Since launching the organization, Jim has combined his lifelong love of the ocean with his deep commitment to making a difference in the lives of others. His vision, leadership, and dedication continue to inspire volunteers, families, and communities across the country.

Jim considers it a blessing to have found his true calling through Fish for Life, and he remains devoted to its mission of “Bringing Dignity, Inclusion and New Possibilities to Special Needs Children”

Here is what you can expect….

Each participant is introduced and invited to walk down the red carpet.

Our honored guests are assigned to a loving Fishing Team Leader who will help them throughout the day.

Each trip includes 1-2 volunteer photographers capturing great shots of all the action.

Trophies are awarded to each child one at a time by their Fishing Team Leader.
