Jesse Gemberling-Johnson

Executive Director, Eastern Region

Jesse is at the helm organizing trips on the East Coast starting in 2021. A former Infantry Officer with 2d Battalion, 5th Marines in the United States Marine Corps, Jesse is the Director of Talent Recruitment and Development at MCFA – a construction management, infrastructure planning and management consulting firm in Haddonfield, NJ. Jesse has a bachelor’s degree in Management from Gettysburg College, a graduate certificate in Organizational Behavior from Harvard University Extension School, a master’s degree in Organizational Dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania, and is pursuing a master’s degree in Human Capital Management from Columbia University. Jesse is an avid fisherman who grew up fishing in Avalon, NJ and now lives in Philadelphia with his wife, Shannon, their son, Jack, and their female Pitbull/Husky mix named Charlie.

Brighid Egner

Operations Manager

Brighid has always loved being out on the open ocean, dolphin watching, and spending time with kids. More recently, she got “hooked” on fishing when she met her now-husband, an avid fisherman who introduced her to Jesse and Fish for Life. During the school year, Brighid is a special education teacher in Ardmore, PA. She has an undergraduate degree in teaching from Gwynedd Mercy University and an M.Ed. from The University of Notre Dame. She grew up coming to the Jersey Shore and loves having the Fish for Life trips to look forward to each summer.
